Use Performance Max To Improve Your Search Campaigns Results

Use Performance Max To Improve Your Search Campaigns Results

In this video, I go over exactly how I use Performance Max campaigns to improve my search campaign results. The secret is harvesting the search categories that are shown in the Insights tab and recycling these into your search campaigns as new keywords and ad groups.

In my opinion, these are better than the keyword research planner as they are much more specific than what is shown in the keyword planner. A bonus point is that you can also recycle these into the search themes of your Performance Max asset groups to improve the targeting of these further.

3 Ways To View Asset Group Metrics in Google Ads Performance Max

The top 3 ways I like to view asset group performance are as follows:

1. Select asset groups and then go onto the table view at the right-hand side of the screen.

2. view the listing groups within your pmax which shows each asset group and its performance.

3. upload a Google Ads script to your account which gives you asset group performance data and also where the spend is going across video, shopping, search, and display.

Upload the Google script I use here: https://www.loom.com/share/123920288d...
